Larviol is high-efficient fast track universal spore-free means of new generation to control the larva of all species of blood-sucking mosquito, propagating in artificial and natural waters.
The preparation is harmless for humans and animals.
Larviol is developed on the basis of asporogenic strain. It does not contain live cells (spores) and completely harmless for environment, water ecosystems, including fish-farming waters. It has selective toxic effect to mosquito larva.
Active substance of the preparation Larviol-paste is delta-endotoxin, synthesized by the cells of bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis 14 serotype strain 1501. Additives are: preserving substances, stabilizers and powder dispenser. Larviol is applied as water suspension by thorough sprinkling of all water surface, settled with mosquito larva.
Main characteristics of the preparation- lethal concentration, that causes 50% death of mosquito (LD50), not more 0,0004 ml/l. Optimal dose depends on the type of waters to be treated 0,1-0,4 g/m2 . Efficiency- 98-100%. All characteristics meets international standards.
The preparation is active in any season of the year in different climate zones. In close waters- basements of houses, flooded with soil waters and sewage waters it effects to 20-30 days, in open waters- 15-20 days.
Residual effect of Larviol ranges from 10 to 30 days depending on conditions.
The preparations was tested in our country and abroad.
It is packaged by 0,5-40 kg, into cans by agreement with the customer. Shelf life is 1 year. It is stored in dark places with temperature from -30 to + 30C. By the order of the customer, the preparation can be manufactured in the form of powder with similar properties.
